Management Strategies and Plans

Developing and reviewing strategies, policies, plans and regulatory and governance frameworks for marine and coastal environments, biodiversity, fisheries and aquaculture — at state, national and cross-jurisdictional levels. This includes applying a critical downstream lens to land, catchment and waterway strategies and projects, from the perspective of estuaries, coasts, bays and oceans.

Assessments and Approvals

Specialist advice and expert input across environmental, biodiversity, fisheries and aquaculture assessment and approvals processes under Commonwealth and state frameworks — from advisory and expert review roles and regulatory navigation through to full assessment support, including as a specialist sub-consultant in larger multidisciplinary teams.

Independent Reviews

Leading or contributing to independent, evidence-based reviews of environmental, biodiversity, fisheries and aquaculture assessments, management strategies, programs, plans and projects and governance — producing credible, balanced findings and recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement

Strong stakeholder engagement is integral to all work — drawing on broad experience across government, industry, research and community sectors to navigate complex and contested issues and achieve practical, balanced and durable outcomes.
